This photo of my Great Grandmother, Winnifred Lucy Kirkland Tisdale, was taken about 1904 before she moved from Grand Forks, North Dakota to Toledo, Washington. Based on a birth year of 1883, her age was about 21 years of age. She was born June 9,1883 in Ojata, Grand Forks, ND to Hiram Jacob and Esther Emily White Kirkland and died August 30, 1965 in Seattle, King, WA.
She married Fred (FW) Tisdale in Tacoma, Pierce, WA January 19,1905. They had four children, Holly Mabel Tisdale Hopkins (1906-2002), Clifton K. Tisdale (1907-1964), Homer K. Tisdale (1909-1970) and Dorothy Winnifred Tisdale (1911-1997).
